Unity Cup 2023

Nearly 300 in attendance, the Unity Cup 2023 successfuly ended with 3 teams defending their title and a new Mens A division champion. Not

Only that the number of participants have grown but the level of competition from all the teams showed some jaw dropping action in the court. Nick Yow's team Fresh Legs, kicked the Cash Money, 3 consecutive time champions at the semi-finals and proved that with Fresh Legs paired with great volleyball skills and determination, nothing is impossible.

There were also some promising performance from the junior teams Spiketown and Lego Masters. Their performance certainly drew attention from the crowd and we cannot wait to see them in the higher leagues. Lastly, the club was honoured to see José Martinez joined the Cash Money team on the first day of the tournament. José is a Mexican volleyball player who is part of Mexico men's national volleyball team, and represented Mexico at the Olympic Games 2016 Rio. At club level he currently plays for the WA Steel, who play in the Australian Volleyball League And ECU Chequers in the WA Volleyball League.

Thank you to all those who supported our tournament and we hope you all enjoyed and will see you again in the next year.
